From Adam's peak to Yala- A photo view of Sri Lankan Diversity

A long line of lights illuminates the path to the summit of Adam's Peak during the Poya Festival in the Central Highlands of Sri Lanka. This mountainous, mist-draped realm has long been popular with backpackers and other adventurers for its tea plantations and rain forest preserves. The Central Highlands recently were added to UNESCO’s World Heritage list. The season begins from  December end at May. It is a once in life time memorable experience that anyone should have. This is a place where worship by all religions including Hindus, Muslims, Burgers & Buddhist. Everybody fascinating about sunrise from the eastern end where you can see this moment very nicely.

The cave monastery of Dambulla, a World Heritage site, has five sanctuaries and is the largest, best preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka.

A leopard (Panthera pardus) rests in tree in Yala National Park. Located on the southern coast of the island, Yala is Sri Lanka's most visited and second largest national park.Sri Lanka is a place for Elephant,Dolphin & Leopard lovers. Bird watching is another activity that popular among nature lovers.

Many of the Buddhist ruins in the ancient city of Polonnaruwa date from the 12th century.Sri lanka is a country with rich heritage. It's proof from north to south & east to west. Any where in the country you may able to witness the ruins of great sri lankan history. Out of that Anuradhapura & Polonnaruwa has many. If you are a cultural lover there are lot of places to visit.
